Marley’s Musical Musings

Finally wrapped up the first round of grading! I listen to sixties/seventies music when I grade. 🙂 I love this style of music so much. It helps to have something playing as background noise, because then my mind doesn’t wander in fifty different directions. I have a very over active imagination. 🙂 I also grade to (and listen to) Irish folk, New Age, and Irish instrumental peices. I write to the same genres, as well as medieval music, specifically Gregorian chants. As my NaNo novel revolves around St. Joan of Arc, I listen to a lot of Gregorian chant music. I love songs that focus on Joan of Arc herself, so a lot of those are on my playlist as well. I don’t like contemporary music much, though I make some exceptions. I adore Mumford and Sons and the Avett Brothers, for instance. I also listen to a lot of modern American folk music. If you need good recommendations, just ask!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
